What Tailor does, what you need, and where the private alpha stands.
Do I need an account to browse this website?
No. These pages are public. The separate founder portal requires a login because it contains private test builds and filters.
Can I download Tailor today?
Tailor is currently in private alpha. Existing founders have protected access to test downloads. A general public release is not available yet.
Does Tailor provide the movies?
No. You bring media you are authorized to play. Tailor provides a player and prepared filter instructions, not movie files.
Will my movie be uploaded?
No movie is uploaded to this website for playback. Your media plays on your own hardware.
Does Tailor permanently edit my file?
No. Treatments are applied during playback. Your original media stays intact.
What kinds of content can it treat?
Prepared filters can address language, violence, and sexual content. The exact treatments vary by title, edition, and filter; not every title has every treatment.
Will it work with any version of a movie or episode?
No. Filters are tied to specific editions. The media and filter must match for correct timing.
Which computers does it support?
The private alpha runs on Mac (Apple Silicon and macOS Sequoia 15 or newer). Apple TV support is planned for the beta. Joining the waitlist does not give immediate access.
What is the filter example on the homepage?
It is an interactive illustration, not a video demo. In Tailor, available choices depend on the prepared filter for your exact movie or episode. The example does not change playback or save settings.
Are filters available for every title?
Title and filter availability is limited. Episode availability will vary during the beta, and filters must match your exact edition. More family favorites are on the way.
How do I join the beta waitlist?
Use the form on the homepage. Add your email and what you watch on: Mac, Apple TV, Plex, or other. We’ll reach out personally when a spot opens.
